We are delighted to announce that we have once again been invited by Pinarello to be one of their official agents for the Granfondo Pinarello, the most prestigious Italian sportive of the calendar. The race itself takes place on Sunday 15 July 2012 and we will be running a Pinarello experience weekend from Friday 13 July to Monday 16 July.
Love Velo will pick you up from the airport and take you to the stunning spa hotel where we are staying, on the outskirts of Treviso, approximately 5km from the start of the Granfondo Pinarello. Settle in, relax and use the spa facilities that the hotel has to offer before enjoying dinner and a great night's rest.
The following day, after a hearty breakfast, we will jump on the bikes and go for a gentle 30/40km ride to spin out the legs and get ready for the following day's challenge (if you would rather not cycle, you are more than welcome to relax in the hotel). |

The follwing day is race day. You will be up early for a nutritious and breakfast and we will then guide you to the race line either in the support vehicle or on the bike, depending on which you would prefer. Following what will no doubt be a very successful race, we will meet you at the finish line for a celebratory drink and then you can relax in town mixing with the locals and other riders in what is always a special atmosphere, or if you would prefer, the jacuzzi and steam room at the hotel awaits you. Dinner will be served in the hotel with copious amounts of wine to celebrate a fantastic achievement.
The following day will see us rise late for breakfast and for those who would like, we have a nice 30km ride available to stretch out those aching limbs. After lunch, we will then take you back to the airport to catch your flight home.
