The 2010 Etape is taking place in the Pyrenees between Pau and Lourdes and Love Velo are running 3 training camps in June 2010 for the ultimate Etape du Tour preparation.

Each camp lasts 3 days (2 and a half day's cycling) and we will be replicating some of the Etape route by climbing both the Col du Soulor and the legendary Col du Tourmalet. The training will also see us climb the truly stunning Col D'Aubisque as well as other smaller cols. In two and a half days you will ride approximately 280km, with over 4000m of climbing.

Our Pyrenean chalet is just 20 minutes from Lourdes (where the Etape 2010 finishes) and the views over the Pyrenees are spectacular. After a tough day's cycling, relax your body in the steam room, jacuzzi and pool.

Chill out in the movie room in the evening, get a good night's rest and then attack the cols again in the morning.

This is what training for the Etape should be about. Hit the mountains as hard as possible during the day and then relax in a luxurious chalet at night.

We believe in intimate cycling so there will only be a maximum of 8 cyclists on each training camp. if you need to get some miles in, hone your training or just experience some tough cycling in one the most beautiful places in France, join us in the Pyrenees this summer.
